JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst made the following statement regarding Governor Parson’s actions today to promote rural broadband:
“Rural broadband is critical to Missouri’s future. By signing HB 1768 and allocating nearly $50 million in funding to Missouri broadband programs, Governor Parson has proven that he recognizes just how important broadband is to our rural citizens. Missouri Farm Bureau will continue working with Governor Parson and others to push forward on rural broadband opportunities until every Missourian has access to reliable, affordable service.”
