SEDALIA, Mo. — The Missouri State Fair recently celebrated many honors at the 2019 International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) Convention.
Among the highest honors received included Best Marketing Campaign for the 2019 “Come Home” theme and creative concept, which was developed in conjunction with Callis, the marketing partner of the Fair. First place awards in the agriculture division included collaborative partnerships between the Fair and Missouri Grown USA, the Hospitality Management Program at University of Missouri and the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Additional awards recognized excellence in communications, competitive exhibits and sponsorship. The Missouri State Fair is judged alongside other IAFE member fairs of similar size, ranging in attendance from 250,000-500,000.
