SEDALIA, Mo. — Gear up for big savings on $2 Tuesday, Aug 17, at the Missouri State Fair, and get ready to make an impact by supporting the Missouri Farmers Care Food Drive. We are excited to offer $2 gate admission with minimum donation of 2 cans of food or $2 donation.
In addition to $2 admission, be on the lookout for $2 carnival rides (most rides) and $2 specials at select concessions and vendors all day!
Missouri FFA will host their Food Insecurity Service Day, with over 900 FFA members who share a heart of service to those in need. Their goal is to reduce childhood food insecurity in Missouri and pack 200,000 child-friendly meals in honor of Missouri’s 200th birthday that will be distributed to six food banks across our state.
Stop by the Agriculture Building to learn more about food insecurity at the canned food display constructed of 3,000 cans of food donated by Woods Supermarket. All cans used in the display will be added to the food drive collection and head to food banks following the Fair.
Mark your calendars for Aug. 17 and help support a worthy cause while saving big bucks on $2 Tuesday. “Our Missouri Celebration” is Aug. 12-22 in Sedalia at the 2021 Missouri State Fair!
