COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri 4-H Foundation is pleased to announce that 72 scholarships totaling $77,700 will be awarded to Missouri 4-H youths to aid in furthering their educations.
“The Missouri 4-H Foundation, along with our donors and partner organizations, is pleased to annually recognize the remarkable achievements of 4-H’ers who have made a lasting impact on their local clubs and communities as well as the entire state of Missouri,” said Kyle Kerns, Missouri 4-H Foundation chair. “While everyone is working through an extraordinary time, these scholarship recipients have already shown they can take on any challenge. We congratulate them as they pursue their educational goals and are excited to see what more they will achieve in the future.”
Missouri 4-H youths are encouraged to showcase their leadership, citizenship, community service experience and career goals on their scholarship applications. “For many youth, these scholarships are critical to bridging the gap between the rising cost of tuition and what their families can afford to pay out of pocket,” said Rachel Augustine, Missouri 4-H Foundation director. “We are so proud to be able to recognize their hard work in this meaningful way.”
