ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) unveiled its new Minnesota State Fair exhibits on July 21 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an opportunity for attendees to interact with the new exhibits, see building updates and receive the 2021 fair giveaways. Minnesota State Fair Board members, MFBF Staff and Board of Directors, Farm Bureau members and Fare for the Fair donors were among the attendees.
“We have a great opportunity to engage with consumers at the Minnesota State Fair. With our new theme “Farmers Produce more than Produce” we get to tell the story of how agriculture touches our lives every day beyond the plate – things we take for granted like batteries, tires, paint and so much more,” stated Ruth Linkenmeyer Meirick, Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation Director.
The public can visit the MFBF building at 1305 Underwood Street during the Minnesota State Fair August 26 to September 6. Fairgoers will have the opportunity to learn agricultural facts about products they find at the grocery store, understand common agricultural myths and truths and meet farmers from across Minnesota.
