ST. PAUL, Minn. — The average price received by farmers for corn during July 2022 in Minnesota was $6.95 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report. This was 4 cents below the June price but $1.26 above July 2021.
The July 2022 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $15.10 per bushel, was $1.30 below the June price but $1.20 above the July 2021 price.
The July average spring wheat price per bushel, at $10.90, was 10 cents above June and $3.39 above July 2021.
All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $153.00 per ton in July. This was $24.00 below the June price and $26.00 below the July 2021 price. The July 2022 alfalfa hay price, at $175.00, was $15.00 below the previous month and $24.00 below July 2021. The average price received for other hay during July was $131.00 per ton. This was $14.00 below the June price and $17.00 below July last year.
The average price for milk was $23.80 per cwt, $2.20 below the June price but $6.10 above July 2021.
