OKEMOS, Mich. — The Michigan Cattlemen’s Association would like to announce the appointment of Sara Horton as our new Executive Vice President. MCA recently reached an agreement on a contract with the Michigan Beef Industry Commission for continuing management services. As a result of that contract, MBIC Administrative Manager Sara Horton will be serving MCA in the role of Executive Vice President.
With these changes, George Quackenbush, Executive Director of the MBIC, will be stepping aside from his previous duties with MCA in order to concentrate on his role with MBIC. Both MBIC and MCA feel that this change in roles will serve the mission of both organizations well. MCA would like to thank George for all of his hard work for MCA over the years he has served as Executive Vice President and look forward to continuing to work with him at MBIC.
You can contact Sara through all of the normal channels at MCA as our contact information will remain the same. We look forward to working with Sara as we move forward and urge all of you to welcome her to the Michigan Cattlemen’s Association.
