ST. PAUL, Minn. — Over 225 Farm Bureau members from across the state attended the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Leadership Conference led by the MFBF Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) Committee and MFBF Promotion & Education (P&E) Committee. This was held February 3-4 at the Sanford Convention Center in Bemidji.
During the conference, attendees conducted a service project for the Hope House of Bemidji by bringing in needed supplies for the house. The Minnesota Farm Bureau (MFB) Foundation also donated food and household supplies along with a monetary donation of $1,000.
Farm Bureau members also raised over $2,100 for a hunger service project in the upcoming year. Throughout the year, farmers and ranchers across the nation donate food, funds and people power to create a hunger-free America.
The MFBF conducts Food Awareness activities primarily in February and March. Part of the county Farm Bureau activities include initiatives with local food shelves.
