MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — The Orange County 4-H program is happy to announce our upcoming after school Entomology program being held Tuesday evenings, September 17 through December 10, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM. This program is designed for youth ages 8 and older. The course will be held at both, the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center and 4-H Park located at 300 Finchville Turnpike, Otisville, New York and at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County office located at 18 Seward Ave., Suite 300, Middletown, New York.
Does your child love insects? Does your child want to learn how to identify insects? Or what tools to use to collect insects and how to preserve insects for investigation? Sign them up today!
By the end of the course all students will not only have a good understanding of insects and other arthropods, but they will also have their own insect collection to keep for themselves! We will celebrate our accomplishments at our last meeting on December 10th with a Bug Bash party! Please check our website (cceorangecounty.org) for all dates and locations.
