HAMBURG, N.Y. — Once again the Western New York Farm Show is inviting high school students and non-professional, young adults to participate in its annual NAPA Mechanics Competition. The event challenges youth to complete a course made up of various tasks that could include bolt identification, hydraulics, machining, automobile inspection, welding, torque, tractor part identification, brakes, hard wiring, fluid tests, air brakes, etc. The High School Mechanics Competition will take place on Friday, February 2nd at 10am with the 18-21 year old College/Real World Mechanics Competition schedules for Saturday, February 3rd at 10am.

Now in its 8th year, the Western New York Farm Show brings together the region’s farming community and the services necessary for daily operations. The 2018 show is schedule for February 1-3, 2018 at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York. The exposition is sponsored by the Erie County Agricultural Society. The Erie County Fairgrounds is located in Hamburg, New York easily accessible by the New York State Thruway (I-90) off exit 56. The grounds are located just 20 minutes south of Buffalo.
