WATERLOO, N.Y. — Canning meat takes even the toughest cuts and makes it fork tender! Learn how to safely can venison, beef, small game, fish, and poultry in this one-hour workshop. If you need to make some space in your freezer for this year’s deer or side of beef, then this class is for you!
Canning meat creates a shelf stable food that can quickly be prepared into a meal. Samples will be provided. This class will be led by Mo Tidball, CCE Nutrition Issue Leader and creator of the www.wildharvesttable.com program, and Shelley Pletcher, Master Food Preserver.
