JEFFERSON CITY — In an effort to reach MORE farmers and ranchers and introduce you to your Department of Agriculture, we are planning the reach MORE tour. We’ll be taking our MDA team on the road to all of the major ag commodity organization meetings and conferences this fall and winter. Our presence will be seen on the meeting agenda with a breakout session or remarks from Director Chinn, and in the tradeshow/exhibit area.

The reach MORE tour will take the place of the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture this year. During the reach MORE tour, we will be collecting feedback on what topics and speakers would draw people to the next conference. With feedback from farmers and ranchers, our goal is to make next year’s Governor’s Conference on Agriculture better and bolder, and more appealing to producers.
