OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association is pleased to announce the addition of Courtney McNeff to the full-time staff team.

“Courtney has done a wonderful job as our Central District Field Representative, a position she has held since 2018. She has excellent people skills and communication is one of her strong points. I look forward to her leadership in cultivating our partner and sponsor relationships. Additionally, she will serve as the Trade Show Coordinator.” said Michael Kelsey, OCA Executive Vice President. “OCA is blessed with a staff that is 100% dedicated to the betterment of Oklahoma’s beef cattle industry. Courtney has proven that she fits in so well to this commitment.”

Courtney’s starting date is June 1. She recently graduated with her Master of Science in animal science with a concentration in ruminant nutrition from Oklahoma State University.

“Over the past years, I have experienced first-hand the dedication and passion the OCA demonstrates to fight for all of those involved in the beef industry,” McNeff said. “I am so thankful for the connections I have made as the central field representative; I am overjoyed to stay connected to those I have worked with previously and build my connections while serving as the Coordinator of Association Marketing. It is an honor to continue my involvement in the beef industry through such an impactful association.”

In late 2020, a working group of OCA members met several times to formulate a three-year strategic plan. According to Kelsey, the group set some lofty, yet attainable goals. “Bringing Courtney on full time will assist the OCA staff team and membership meet the goals set in our Strategic Plan,” Kelsey said.

The OCA is the trusted voice of the Oklahoma Cattle Industry and works to protect and empower Oklahoma cattlemen today, to serve tomorrow. OCA is the only voice that speaks solely for the cattlemen of Oklahoma and represents beef producers in all 77 counties across the state. The OCA officers, board of directors and membership encourages you to join us in our advocacy efforts to ensure less government intervention, lower taxes and a better bottom line. For more information about OCA membership, the theft reward program or activities call 405-235-4391 or visit www.okcattlemen.org.
