CLEMSON, S.C. — Please join us for a tour of the McCrary Tree Farm in Fairfield County. This 365 acre tract is a wonderful example of transformation in a short time. This will be a 2-part event, with this 1st tour being held on December 6, 2019, followed by a 2nd tour on April 24, 2020.
Tour 1: Participants will learn the history of the property and discuss recent timber harvests, winter food plots, planned dormant season burns, and hardwood management.
Tour 2: We will view and discuss results of the dormant season burns, spring food plots, pond management, and understory vegetation.
Snacks and beverages will be available during both tours, however lunch will only be served on Tour 2. Please dress appropriately to be in the woods (closed toe shoes and long pants). Each tour will require driving from stop to stop in personal vehicles. Only SUV’s and trucks will be permitted to make the loop and we will utilize carpooling.
