OKEMOS, Mich. — Michigan cattlemen and women will bring their families, and their campers, to McBain, Michigan for the 2021 MCA Summer Round-Up, presented by Quality Ag Service, June 17-29 at Hughston’s Cow Camp. The event will include a variety of family-focused activities, entertainment and learning opportunities providing fun for all ages. Campers are welcome to begin arriving Thursday, June 17th at Cow Camp, located on S. Green Road just 1 mile North and 1 mile West of McBain, MI. Camping is free for the weekend with a Summer Round-Up registration. Lodging is also available at several local hotels. Registration and lodging info can be found at www.MICattlemen.org

Rock Friday night away with the Bob Marshall Band, A REAL cowboy bringing you REAL Country and Western music! Bob Marshall has rodeo’ed professionally for 30 years, raised and trained horses, and still runs a horse training and boarding facility. Beef Quality Assurance Training & Recertification Opportunity
After a morning feedlot tour, an in-person Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) training & recertification will be held Saturday June 18th and is free for all MCA members. Certification must be renewed every three years to meet BQA and packer guidelines. This training session is a one-hour presentation, will include live cattle demonstrations and participants will receive their BQA certification on-site. Don’t miss this in-person training opportunity to get your BQA certification completed.
