MONTROSE, Pa. — It’s hard to think of a beautiful winter landscape and the joys of Christmas right now, but why not! The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners in Wyoming, Susquehanna, Tioga and Bradford will be holding their annual premium wreath and poinsettia fundraiser. The deadline to order is November 3rd and pick up will be on Friday, December 4th *or call to make arrangements. Sale will be according to COVID protocols of no contact at pick up. Choose the location and time most convenient for you.
These lush wreaths and poinsettias are not your typical small grocery/retail plants…they are large gorgeous premium plants from a local grower. There will be a variety of poinsettia colors for the 6 ½ inch pot size which usually have 6+ blooms for $15: Red Glitter, Pink, White, and Classic Red. The large 8-inch pot for $30-red only will boast 14+ blooms. The lush green wreaths come in 2 sizes as well: 12 inches for $25 and 24 inches for $30.
We encourage you to consider purchasing your poinsettias and wreaths locally through the Master Gardener’s poinsettia and Christmas wreath sale. These are the best of the best and proceeds from this sale goes into educational programming for the community. This is our only fundraiser for the year due to COVID-19 and we appreciate your patronage. Educational information about care and maintenance will be included with you purchase.
