LANCASTER, Pa. — The Lancaster County Master Gardner’s Plant Sale will be held on May 6 from 7:30 a.m. until sold out at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, off the Manheim Pike in Lancaster, Pa. The sale will feature native plants, plants for shade and pollinators, perennials and annuals.
The plants are chosen especially for the Lancaster County climate, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to assist with selection. Hundreds of Master-Gardener-grown plants are also for sale, including many tomato varieties.
In addition, the Garden Shed features a wealth of gently-used garden tools, containers and accessories. Soil test kits and an information desk for garden questions are also part of the event.
Plant buyers should plan to come early for best selection. Cash and checks are preferred, but credit card payments are accepted. Presented by Penn State Master Gardeners of Lancaster County, the sale supports the many programs offered to home gardeners, including a Horticulture Hotline, Idea Gardens, and Speakers’ Bureau. For questions, contact Lois Miklas at lim2@psu.edu or 717-394-6851.
