MONTROSE, Pa. — Join Susquehanna County Master Gardeners Jim Kasten and Lori Wallace on Saturday, March 21, at 10 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Montrose for a class on extending your growing season! Enjoy your harvest before and after the growing season! This class is offered in partnership with the Montrose Area Adult School.
Have you ever wanted to grow crops earlier in the Spring, or later in the fall and did not want to worry about the frost?  Do you have an old window lying around and thought…this would make a good cold frame! Then join Penn State Extension Master Gardeners and learn about different season extenders such as cold frames, hot beds, and low tunnels. Fee: $5.00
