MONROE CO., N.Y. — Join us for a FREE ‘Sweet Treat’ self-guided tour to win a prize March 18 – 19 and 25 – 26, 2017; 10am – 4:00 pm!
Every spring, the members of the NYS Maple Producers Association invite families and friends into their ‘sugar houses’ to experience the world of pure NY maple syrup.
During both Maple Weekends, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County organizes a ‘Sweet Treat’ self-guided tour for public to visit these five tour participating farms where the visitors will be able to learn a maple-syrup-making journey from a tree tapping and sap harvesting to evaporation process and product grading. And this while having an opportunity to be entered in to raffle to win a prize. There will be something for everybody including free recipe and samples, maple demonstrations, homemade pancake breakfast and music and craft.
To qualify for drawing, the visitors must take a selfie in front of this poster at the farm they visited, answer a trivia question and post both on the CCE-Monroe Facebook page: Facebook.com/CCEMonroe/
