WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Interested in learning more about forage feed for your livestock? At this FREE program, Erin Churchill, CCE Jefferson Agriculture Outreach Educator, will present on managing forage quality for beef and equine. Due to this spring’s unusual weather, many producers harvested forage and hay with a lower density of nutrients. With high quality forage in short supply in the North Country, Erin will walk through the steps on how to maintain your animal’s health and well-being on lower quality feed.
This program will take place on Tuesday, November 12th from 6:30PM—8:00PM at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County offices located at 203 North Hamilton St. Watertown, NY 13601. Veterans/Military and individuals of all agricultural interests and backgrounds are encouraged to attend!
