WESTMINSTER, Md. — MidAtlantic Farm Credit recently announced the hiring of Cara Harrison as a loan officer. She will be based in the association’s administrative office in Westminster, Md.
“We are excited to have Cara on our association’s sales team,” said John Stump, MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s lending manager. “She has an extensive background in the financial services industry, and is very familiar with Carroll and Frederick counties.”
In her role as a loan officer, Harrison will be working with customers to help them find the right financing options for their specific needs. “I hope to offer our members the knowledge I have of Maryland agriculture and my experience in lending,” Harrison said.
Harrison, a resident of Woodbine, Md., grew up on a family grain and beef farm in Woodbine. She showed beef and swine in Carroll County 4-H, and participated in both the South Carroll FFA and the Maryland Junior Angus Association. She has more than 20 years of banking experience, working as a mortgage banker for SWBC Mortgage before joining MidAtlantic Farm Credit.
