JEFFERSON CITY — The seventh annual Missouri CornRoots Leadership Academy is just around the corner and we need you! Missouri Corn is requesting applications from young men and women involved in corn production who are willing to become the next generation of industry advocates. Focused on developing public policy and communications skills, the CornRoots Leadership Academy provides the tools to help upcoming leaders assume stronger roles in industry discussions.
The first session will take place Dec. 11-12, 2017 in Jefferson City. The class will return to the Capital City Jan. 22-23 to put their skills to work and participate in the MCGA annual meeting and legislative day. The crowning finale will take place the week of July 16 in Washington, D.C., where the class will participate in NCGA’s annual Corn Congress meeting and Hill visits.
