SUFFOLK CO., N.Y. — The Suffolk County Office of Central Procurement, on behalf of the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning, is seeking proposals from farmers for the operation of the Farmlands owned by Suffolk County on the Suffolk County Farm in Yaphank. The Department is looking to execute an agreement with the selected proposer so that usage may begin as early as Spring/Summer 2022.
The Department is looking to enter into an agreement, subject to approval of the Suffolk County Legislature, in the form of a license, for the use of the property for five years with an option to extend an additional five years.
