Location change, for Franklin County Master Gardener Plant Sale

Will now be held at 425 Franklin Farm Lane, in Chambersburg

PUBLISHED ON May 15, 2022

This year, because of the threat of avian influenza along the trout stream, which has been cordoned off from public access, the Master Gardeners are moving their Plant Sale just up the road, to the large lawn between Laurel Lakes nursing home and Franklin County’s Human Services Building, at 425 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202. CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — This year, because of the threat of avian influenza along the trout stream, which has been cordoned off from public access, the Master Gardeners are moving their Plant Sale just up the road, to the large lawn between Laurel Lakes nursing home and Franklin County’s Human Services Building, at 425 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202.

The location and layout will be a bit different, but everything else remains the same. The date is still Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. The Master Gardeners will still offer a great selection of greenhouse-grown vegetable, annual flower, and herb plants, with many hard-to-find and unusual varieties, along with a wide assortment of sun and shade-loving perennials, groundcovers, shrubs, and trees, all for reasonable prices.

Bring your gardening questions, and get information about plants and planting from friendly, knowledgeable Penn State Master Gardener volunteers. This year, credit and debit cards (MC and VISA) will be accepted along with cash and checks. Proceeds support Master Gardener educational outreach activities in Franklin County.
