MADRAS, Ore. — The Local Food Producer and Buyer Mixer is BACK after a two-year hiatus! Join the High Desert Food & Farm Alliance on Monday, April 11th from 2-4pm at Worthy Brewing’s Hop Mahal. This is an opportunity for chefs and buyers to learn about all the local ingredients available in Central Oregon and for farmers and ranchers to showcase their unique product offerings.
All attendees will receive a free drink token. This event is free for HDFFA partners and costs $15 for non-partners.
The event will be separated into two parts:
1. Speed Networking (2-3pm): Farmers and ranchers will be set up at tables around the room with price sheets and pictures of their products. Chefs and buyers will move throughout the room in five minute intervals and have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with producers about their business, products, logistics, and more.
2. Casual Conversation and Mixing (3-4pm): After an hour, farmers and ranchers are welcome to move about the room and interact with chefs, buyers, and fellow producers.
Space is limited and we encourage attendees to register early. Registration will close on April 5th. Upon registration, you will receive information via email with tips and tricks to prepare for the event.
