ST. PAUL — The Minnesota FFA Foundation is excited to announce for the first time ever, the FFA Supreme Champions and Awards Program will be streamed live from the AgStar Arena on September 4th at 10 am. This program includes announcing the results from crops and landscape projects, judging contests, and the selection of the supreme livestock breeding females in the species of beef, dairy, goats, sheep and swine. More than 1,000 FFA Members exhibit more than 3,300 projects during the Minnesota FFA Encampment September 1st-4th. Projects include livestock, landscape design and crop exhibits as well as participation in dairy and general livestock judging contests.
The live stream is made possible through sponsorship from Form-A-Feeds, a full service feed and nutrition solutions company. Daniel Kohls, Business Manager at Form-A-Feeds says, “For myself, as well as my Form-A-Feed colleagues, and clients, who wore the “Blue and Gold” we benefited from these Agricultural Education programs during our youth. The FFA also aligns with our Form-A-Feed values and our mission to feed the world. Having received so much both personally and professionally, it only makes sense to support the FFA, both financially and through gifts of service.”
The live stream can be accessed on the Minnesota FFA Foundation website: www.mnffafoundation.org. Pre-show at9:30 am and the program at 10:00 a.m on September 4th. The event will be recorded and posted on YouTube at Minnesota FFA for later viewing.
