HARRISBURG, Pa. — CH Lialic Corners Choclit Sundae, a Nubian goat exhibited by Diana Heimbach, was named the Overall Best Doe of Show during the Open Dairy Goat Show at the 103rd Pennsylvania Farm Show. Diana Heimbach helps run Lilac Corners Farm located in Macungie, Lehigh County.
Judge Anne Clagett of Damasas, Maryland spent the day judging 414 goats from eight different divisions exhibited in the show.
After a judge picks grand and reserve champion does for the breed, previous years’ show champions can challenge this year’s champion for Best of Breed honors in the Champion Challenge. The catch? Previous champions wishing to compete in the challenge can only enter that class, not other classes in the show.
