DENVER — The Legislative and Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for CFB members build leadership skills and be better spokespersons (advocates) for agriculture with public officials and state legislators. The Summit features updates from policymakers, training on effectively communicating with elected officials, and the opportunity to interface with state legislative leaders.
Attendees will also attend the Colorado Ag Day celebration at the State Capitol and have the opportunity to meet new legislators and discuss issues important to agriculture and rural Colorado.
*** Summit Dinner
Attendees to the Summit are invited to a group dinner on Tuesday night (March 19). Guest speaker to be announced. The dinner begins at 6:30 pm and follows the Colorado Farm Bureau PAC reception which begins at 5:30 pm. Tickets are required to attend the PAC reception.
The dinner will be held at the Franciscan Event Center in Centennial (6553 S Revere Pkwy, Centennial, CO 80111).
***Districts 1,2 & 6 Legislative Steak Fry
Following the conclusion of the Legislative and Leadership Summit program, the counties of CFB Districts 1, 2 & 6 will host their traditional Legislative Steak Fry at the First Baptist Church. Attendees of the Summit are welcome to stay for the dinner.
