LEBANON, Pa. — The Lebanon County Master Gardeners will be holding an event, “Growing Saffron Crocus”, on October 19, 2022, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Penn State Extension Lebanon County, 2120 Cornwall Road, Lebanon, PA 17042.
Saffron is known as the most expensive spice in the world. It has been used since ancient times as a dye and to flavor food. Did you know this fall blooming flower is also very easy to grow Please join us for Growing Saffron Crocus to learn more about Saffron, how to grow it, and harvesting those unique red threads for culinary and non- culinary purposes.
