ORISKANY, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County Master Gardener Volunteers invite you to attend the September 23rd Learning in the Garden Tour, highlighting Preservation of Herbs and Vegetables. The learning session will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County’s Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens, 121 Second Street, Oriskany, NY. All sessions will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, free of charge and rain or shine.
Come and explore the gardens and learn about how to preserve harvested vegetables and herbs to use later! We will meet in the garden at the start of the session.
Joanie Gorton, CCE Oneida County Master Food Preservation Educator and Master Gardener Volunteer will demonstrate some simple techniques to help you preserve herbs and veggies from the garden.
