COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. — Woodland owners will learn management strategies for vigorous forests, and how to combat invasive species, at a workshop sponsored by Purdue Extension in Whitley County on April 30.
Lenny Farlee, Purdue Extension Forester, will speak on these topics from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Whitley County 4-H Center (west room).
Specifically, Farlee will discuss managing forests for health, vigor and value. He will also cover some of the more typical invasive plant species found in woodlands, and how to combat them.
