LEWIS CO., N.Y. — Learn how to grow your own oyster mushrooms, learn about mushroom biology, and learn how to sterilize and inoculate a substrate Thursday, December 9th at 6:00 PM. The workshop will cover potential business opportunities, and how to experiment with other substrates from your home, such as spent coffee grounds, hardwood fuel pellets, brown cardboard, and more!
Each participant will be provided with a kit containing oyster mushroom spawn, three specialized plastic grow bags, and straw substrate. You will have a choice to do the workshop in person or by Zoom. Pre-registration is required!

A Zoom link will be sent via email after registering. Kits will be available for pickup for those doing the Zoom at CCE Lewis 7395 East Rd. Lowville, NY during the week of December 1st from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
