COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — Learn how to safely use a chainsaw and fell trees at an upcoming Game of Logging class, sponsored by the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH). Widely recognized as a leader in logging safety, Game of Logging trainings combine demonstration with hands-on participation to teach chainsaw safety and cutting techniques.
Game of Logging trainer Bill Lindloff will be instructing the upcoming level one classes taking place in December throughout the state. Workshop topics include: personal protective equipment, safety features, chainsaw reactive forces, bore cutting, pre-planning the fell and open-face felling.
Classes are limited to 10 participants and cost $25 per person.
