JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Monday, April 24 was Legislative Day 74. The Senate Majority Leader announced last week that it is his intention to be done with the Legislative Session on Tuesday, May 2, but the House Leader has not disclosed his intentions. The Legislative Assembly has six days left to complete its work.
EXTENSION SERVICE BUDGET LEAVES COMMITTEE
SB 2020, which contains the budget for NDSU ag research and extension, was voted out of conference committee late Friday. The House agreed to leave the soil conservation full-time employee in the budget, and the Senate agreed to add $10,000 back into the budget.
