HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pa. Pork Producers Council and Penn Ag Industries will again host the annual Keystone Pork Expo/Poultry Progress Day/Mid-Atlantic Manure Summit, a free one-day event and trade show focused on swine and poultry production and manure management. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center.
According to Chris Herr, Executive Vice President of PennAg, “This is one of the first post-pandemic ag-focused events where swine and poultry producers, as well as manure applicators, can gather in person to learn from the experts and see the latest equipment, products and services.”
In addition to presentations by industry specialists throughout the day, the event will feature two timely keynote addresses. Jim Wiesemeyer, Farm Journal’s Pro Farmer Policy Analyst, will report on the big impact of the Biden administration’s new priorities on the business of agriculture. Scott Sechler, President of Bell & Evans, and Doug Clemens, CEO of Clemens Family Corporation, will discuss the lessons learned from COVID-19’s effect on the Pa. food supply chain. A complete agenda of the day’s events can be found at www.pennag.com.
