GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Invasive species control is a growing field and an important component of land restoration. Come review the risks and benefits of controlling invasive species using herbicides with State Inspector Jennifer Reay, MSU Pesticide Instructor John Stone, DEQ Biologist Kevin Walters, and West Michigan Conservation Network CISMA Coordinator, Drew Rayner. Participants will discuss best management practices for invasive species control. Topics will include roadside inspections, new regulations, strike team and contractor need to know facts and early detection invasive species identification. Earn 6 CEUs.
