CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Land Connection is hosting the 2nd annual Organic Grain Conference & Trade Show on February 1st, 2018, from 9:00am to 5:00pm at The Hilton Garden Inn located at 1501 S. Neil Street in Champaign, IL. The one-day conference brings together farmers, researches, advocates, and industry specialists to discuss the current state of organic grain farming and explore way to grow the industry.

This year will feature expanded break-out sessions, an industry trade show, roundtable discussions, and keynote address by Dr. John Ikerd, sustainable economist and professor emeritus from the University of Missouri. His presentation, “Agroecology: Science, Social Movement, or Farm Management?”, will explore the soil health and eco-ag movements and their role in improving our communities, lives, and the economy.

The full-day registration fee is $35 if you register before January 21st, and $45 after January 21st, this includes lunch and admittance to the trade show. If you are only interested in the keynote address the fee is $20. You can register online at our website www.thelandconnection.org.

The Organic Grain Conference is presented by The Land Connection and sponsored by The Illinois Farm Bureau.
