TOPEKA, Kan. — The Kansas Beef Council will host a Beef Insights webinar March 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The educational program will highlight how consumers have responded to events surrounding the pandemic and what the checkoff has done to keep beef top-of-mind over the last year.
NCBA Senior Director of Market Research Shawn Darcy and NCBA Market Intelligence Analyst Jace Thurman will discuss the impact COVID-19 has had in a variety of areas; beef demand drivers at both the state and national levels; and the latest data on meat alternatives. In addition, they will provide some insight as to what consumer demand may look like going forward.
The Beef Insights webinar is free, but producers will need to sign up to participate. Registration can be completed by clicking here.
