TOPEKA, Kan. — The Kansas Beef Council will be hosting a virtual Consumer Trends Forum December 8 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This session typically is held in conjunction with the annual KLA Convention, which also has moved to a virtual platform for 2020.
Frank Mitloehner, PhD, professor and air quality specialist in the Department of Animal Science at the University of California-Davis, will be the featured speaker for the forum. He will share his expertise in agricultural air quality, livestock housing and husbandry. Mitloehner also will discuss current research that is directly relevant to understanding and mitigating air emissions from livestock operations.
