TOPEKA, Kan. – The 2022 edition of the region’s largest indoor agribusiness tradeshow, the Kansas Agri Business Expo, is set to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Green Beret Mark Nutsch serves as the show’s keynote speaker where he will share insights on leadership and team dynamics in overcoming insurmountable odds. Nutsch will take audiences behind the scenes of “the most important mission of the free world,” 12 Strong: An Extraordinary Mission of Commitment, Purpose, Heroism and Hope. Nutsch is scheduled to address attendees Thursday, Nov. 17 at 8:30 a.m., in the Hyatt Hotel’s Eagle Ballrooms.
Nutsch will detail the first successful Special Forces campaign that took place in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. Nutsch and his team’s powerful story inspired the major motion picture, 12 Strong, starring Chris Hemsworth as “Mitch Nelson” (Mark Nutsch). The team’s unwavering valor was also fortified by their unique, strategic partnership with their Afghan counterparts. While leveraging guerilla tactics on horseback, his 12-man team successfully outmaneuvered the full military force of the enemy to a historic victory.
The theme for the 36th annual Kansas Agri Business Expo, a jointly-sponsored tradeshow of the Kansas Grain and Feed Association and Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Association, is “The Heroes of Agriculture.”
The 95,000 square foot tradeshow exhibit space is filled with grain and feed equipment and agronomic input companies showcasing their products and services vital to the agribusiness industry in Kansas. More than 1,000 attendees are expected.
