CARLISLE, Pa. — Join Cumberland County Master Watershed Stewards for a short walk starting at the LeTort Park Pavilion. We will learn why LeTort Spring Run is unique and important and why riparian (streamside) plantings are critical for stream health. We will meet some of the critters that live in the stream and learn how and what they tell us about stream health.

The walk will follow the LeTort Nature Trail through the woodlot, through Goodyear Park, and onto the property of LeTort Elementary School where we will investigate a pollinator garden.  Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather. Please wear masks and prepare to practice social distancing.

Date: Saturday, May 15

Time: 10:00-11:30 am

Location: Starting at LeTort Park Pavilion, Carlisle

To Register: https://extension.psu.edu/walk-with-watershed-stewards (Choose Cumberland County)
