Job Title: Education Coordinator
Work Location: This position is fully remote and requires the use of a personal computer and work space. Occasional travel will be required throughout the year.
Position Description: The Education Coordinator provides support and assistance in the identification, development and delivery of educational programs or initiatives targeting agriculture producers, state & federal employees, and the general populace; duties may include (but are not limited to) support of internal/external stakeholders, implementation of routine program logistics, participation in team activities, use of electronic communications and technology, preparation of reports and program documentation, support of budget activities and data collection/input activities. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined job category.
The function of the Education Coordinator is to focus on the planning, development, facilitation, implementation, evaluation, and administration of a wide variety of agricultural educational programs and initiatives to increase and enhance educational learning for the target groups. This may entail development and administration of several training/education course(s) to meet the needs of a diverse population, management of the training/education programs, contracting services with experts and development of course budgets.
Provide routine program logistics/maintain requirements or activities to ensure quality of programs.
Monitor program development timelines and communicate status to supervisor..
Monitor enrollments and report updates to program managers and assistants
Assist in the development, editing, and production of materials, letters, forms, etc.
Update course materials, schedules, requirements, and provide information to students/participants; resolve problems.
Coordination with State GLC Coalitions or other partners for course logistics and deliverables.
Collect feedback surveys from participants.
Compilation of feedback reports and program documentation.
Prepare program confirmation and correspondence.
Enter data into systems.
Efficiently use all forms of electronic communications (basic software applications).

Experience working in multicultural settings and coursework/training on multicultural topics.
Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Conditions of Employment: A personal automobile and appropriate insurance coverage is required (travel allowance provided).
