The Dairy Management Support Specialist is a key member of an important team. This position supports, installs, and sells dairy farm management software to customers mainly throughout Northeastern US.

 

Primary duties include supporting daily management tasks and the integration between herd management software with other data sources such as milking, activity monitoring, and cattle weighing systems. Other responsibilities would include guiding customers and consultants on how best to use their software products. This includes executing farm management strategies and evaluating current performance to identify areas of opportunity.

 

Our products are highly specialized and customizable management tools. Extensive training and mentoring will be provided to ensure success and support long-term growth.

 

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Animal Science or equivalent degree
Previous experience working on a dairy farm
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver’s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience breeding, treating/caring for animals, or managing staff who performed this function
Experience using herd management software
Sales experience
