This position will serve as the Horticulture Educator and 4-H Assistant Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Essex County and will deliver already-existing educational programming to adults and youth in the areas of consumer horticulture and other related areas such as natural resources and climate issues. This position will be responsible for the delivery of established programming and activities to community groups, both on-site and off-site, in accordance with the Community Vitality Area’s plan of work. This position will also coordinate all administrative aspects of the Consumer Horticulture Program and will assist with marketing efforts for horticulture programming. This position will coordinate the Master Gardener Program, including the training and supervision of Master Gardener Program Volunteers.
