GREELEY, Colo. — Mark Sponsler, CEO of Colorado Corn Growers Association was invited to a small gathering of commodity organization executives to meet with Senator Bennet’s office.
This was a small group session with the Senator to discuss concerns about what is happening or not happening with trade, how it impacts specific commodity or agriculture products, such as beef, pork and dairy. Press is not allowed to facilitate open discussions. Commodities invited to attend included beef, wheat, potatoes, and sorghum, along with representatives from Smithfield, Leprino, and JBS, and Ag Commissioner Don Brown.
