INDIANAPOLIS — At the Indiana Farm Bureau state convention, the delegate body reelected INFB President Randy Kron by acclamation. Kron was unopposed in the election that took place on Saturday, Dec. 8 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
“I believe in this organization and what we do,” Kron said during his acceptance speech. “I want to thank you for your support, and I look forward to working with you over the next three years.”
Kron was first elected to the role of INFB president in 2015. In his acceptance speech, Kron said as the organization approaches its 100th anniversary next year, he’s eager to celebrate everything INFB has accomplished in the last 100 years. He added that planning for the future is vital to the continued success of INFB.
“As we kick off our 100 years celebration, I think it’s important that we look forward and figure out how we lay those foundational blocks so that 100 years from now, we’re still as relevant as we are here today,” Kron said.
In addition to his role at INFB, Kron serves as a board member for AgriNovus. Kron and his wife, Joyce, farm in Vanderburgh County where they raise yellow corn, white corn, soybeans and wheat.
