OKLAHOMA CITY — Membership growth is vital for organizations such as the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA). Last week during the 67th Annual OCA Convention, several OCA members were recognized and appropriately awarded for their efforts and dedication to grow OCA membership.
“We have a young OCA member who is on fire about growing the OCA,” said Virginia Rogers, OCA Membership Committee Chair. “Each year we challenge Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy participants to recruit at least one new member, and reward the top recruiter within the leadership class.”

Blehm will also be receiving $5,000 in Great Plains Kubota store dollars as the top recruiter for the 2018-19 membership year.
In addition, Blehm was presented a $500 gift card to Little Joe’s Boots compliments of the Livestock Nutrition Center as a reward for top recruit within the Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy program.
“Great job Colton and thank you to Great Plains Kubota and Livestock Nutrition Center for helping us encourage membership growth,” Rogers said.

Without membership growth, young member recruitment and current members who are devoted to spurring us on, the OCA would perish,” Rogers said.
