INDIANAPOLIS — Several exhibitors finished as Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champions at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Aug. 15 during the 2021 Indiana State Fair Supreme Drive presented by Indiana Farm Bureau. Beginning at 4 p.m., 4-H exhibitors representing livestock of various species took to the dirt to compete for the prestigious titles of Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champions. The Supreme Drive features all female breeding animals, including gilts, ewes, heifers, and cows, recognizing the best breeding stock Indiana has to offer.
Top placing 4-H members from tonight’s Supreme Drive will be recognized for their hard work at the 2021 Indiana State Fair Celebration of Champions event, held at 6 p.m. on August 22nd in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Celebration of Champions provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievement, scholarship, and dedication of these 4-H exhibitors.
Supreme Champions are as follows:
- Supreme Champion Gilt: Hadley Hendrickson, Crossbred, Randolph County
- Supreme Champion Ewe: Jackson Ritter, Hampshire, Hamilton County
- Supreme Champion Junior Heifer: Caylee Bachelor, Jersey, Steuben County
- Supreme Champion Senior Cow: Bryce Kuehnert, Holstein, Whitley County
Reserve Supreme Champions are as follows:
- Reserve Supreme Champion Gilt: Shelby Martin, Berkshire, Monroe County
- Reserve Supreme Champion Ewe: Alexis Koch, Texel, Franklin County
- Reserve Supreme Champion Junior Heifer: Ashlynn Oliger, Brown Swiss, Wayne County
- Reserve Supreme Champion Senior Cow: Dillon Freeman, Ayrshire, St. Joseph County
