NILES, Mich. — Join the SW x SW Corner CISMA at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve on Thursday October 18th from 9am-12pmto learn how to identify and control invasive species found in Southwest Michigan. This is an opportunity to learn about invasive species that are currently found or have the potential to threaten natural ecosystems and the economy of the region. At the conclusion of the presentations there will be an opportunity to walk outside and identify invasive species in the field. There are 3 RUP credits available for those who attend this event and light refreshments will be provided. This is a free event and RSVPs are not required but would be appreciated.
