KINGSVILLE, Texas — Offering a brand new lectureship next month in Kingsville, TX, and online! Our newest rancher learning opportunity will be Brush and Invasive Species Management September 24-25, 2021.
Invasive species such as mesquite, huisache, juniper, prickly pear, and others compete for soil nutrients and compromise the growth of higher succession forages preferred by wild and domestic herbivores. Brush management is never a one-and-done event, but rather an on-going, never-ending process. Here’s an opportunity to learn the full complement of management tools and see firsthand the results of their application. The event is approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture for 10 Pesticide Applicator CEUs.
Thank you to our lectureship sponsor, Corteva.
